127 Hours

Aron Ralston (James Franco), an existing mountaineer, has an accident while on a canyon hike in Utah. He gets stuck in a crevice, his hand trapped under a boulder. Somehow he has to achieve to free himself to survive now. Whether or not he succeeds, you will find out on 17th February, then the movie will be released in German cinemas.

127 Hours is based on the autobiography called Between a Rock and a Hard Place. Those who really liked the movie can also read the book for comparison. Anticipation is expected, because 127 Hours is nominated for six Oscars (Best Movie, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Actor, Best Original Song, Best Original Score, Best Film Editing). We are excited.

The Adventures of Tintin – Secret of the Unicorn

Tintin is an intrepid reporter, who always searches for exciting events for his articles together with his faithful partner Snowy. Both of them experience many thrilling adventures. The story of Tintin is probably known to most of you, now he finally can be seen at the big screen. But wait for a moment, Tintin? Wasn´t that a cartoon for young children? Well, you can say so. But if Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson, two of the best directors of Hollywood, direct and the famous film composer John Williams (he composed, among other things, the music for Star Wars, Harry Potter and Indiana Jones) is at work, the movie should also be interesting to the more mature audience.

Secrets of the Unicorn appears as a feature film and you will also be able to watch the movie in 3D. It should be the first movie of a whole series. The theatrical release is set on October 27th.
